Site Operational

I can't believe it's been nearly two months since Powder Horn is over! The site is finally up! Feel free to visit any time to obtain the document resources that we have here. In addition, have fun looking at the galleries.

This site has been set up to help you maintain contacts that you made during your Powder Horn experience. There are documents available on the site, but those aren't in the password protected area. To get to the information on your Staff, Crew, and Consultants, click on the Dashboard link at the top of the page. Bear in mind that you will need a user-name and password. If you haven't received an email with your user-name and password, please email me (or Robin) to get it.

In the event that anyone has anything that they would like to post or provide for the site: news, pictures, Crew updates; please feel email me (Ben Acker, masterexploder) through your dashboard.

Welcome

This is the blog for the Cascade Pacific Powder Horn. The links to the left go to a variety of places: helpful sites, photo galleries from Powder Horn, the Powder horn Calendar.

This post is to help you make sense of those links. In the galleries links, each link will take you to a gallery on the website Flickr. Click on one of the pictures to enter into the slide show. All of the pictures are available for download, and are split into galleries. Feel free to comment on them or send me an email to ask questions.

The Calendar is available to anyone. If you would like to subscribe to the blog or calendar, you can receive updates as we post them here.

Thanks for dropping by, and we look forward to seeing you at Powder Horn!

Ultralight

Robin has been coordinating the consultants for each of the training events that participants will be enjoying during the two weekends of Powder Horn. Each consultant is an expert in his or her field, and provide insight and training into each of the skills that everyone will be learning.

Most recently, Robin spoke with Bryan Knudson of Portland's Next Adventure. Bryan will be showcasing the latest in Ultralight backpacking gear during the first weekend of Powder Horn. In addition, Next Adventure will be providing food for the backpacking!

In the event that you dig all the gear showcased by Mr. Knudson during Powder Horn, he will be providing a 20% discount @ the shop on the final day of the first weekend of Powder Horn.
